Nurseries: As one of the most established providers of nurseries and childcare in Milton Keynes, Acorn Early Years Foundation has over 25 years’ experience operating nurseries, out-of-school clubs and Forest Schools. We are a not-for-profit organisation, meaning the children’s needs come first.
We believe that childcare needs a personal touch; our nurseries reflect this, offering individuality with a family-friendly feel, combined with professionalism and quality facilities. To offer the flexibility of a homely setting we restrict the size of our nurseries.
Acorn places a strong emphasis on the professional development of our early years’ practitioners, and encourages a learning culture throughout the organisation. Outdoor learning and creative play are key features in all of our provisions and our not-for-profit ethos means that the needs of the children come first, all of the time.
We have 9 nurseries located in Milton Keynes, with our 8th due to open in April 2020 in Central Milton Keynes. We accommodate babies to 5 year olds. Our nurseries provide a homely setting with an emphasis on healthy food and outdoor play, and we work hard to ensure the children’s well-being is at the heart of everything we do.

“Very happy with the last 3 years at Acorn. My daughter started at 12 months old and it is such a loving caring team. It has helped immensely with Sofia’s development becoming a confident little lady.”
“My son went to holiday camp for the 2 days at Salcey Forest during May half term and absolutely loved it. When I emailed to see how he was getting on I was sent pictures and an update.”
