A Performing Arts School big enough to offer the best training; small enough for individuals to be personally managed. ‘The key to brilliance … is training, on a consistent basis, for a sustained period of time’.
Many people believe that talent will simply speak for itself. Here at PWAcademy, we take a different view. We believe that talent needs consistent and solid training for it to develop to its highest potential for the long term.
It’s no secret that the entertainment business can be demanding. All great singers, dancers, and actors, without exception, combine consistent hard work with comprehensive training to achieve success and perform at their best. And it’s the same in any career outside the arts, too.
That’s why we at PWAcademy of Theatre & Performing Arts School we expect commitment and hard work from our students so that they have the best chance of stepping forward in their chosen direction. We take each student as a blank canvas, and then we draw out, shape and nurture his or her talent and ability. There are no short cuts.
To audition successfully for the leading colleges at age 16 or 18, you need a thorough grounding in all disciplines of the performing arts. If you’re good at the end of our courses, it means you’re very good. And we will always promote students with genuine potential!

My daughter has attended PWA for the last 13 years, and has not only developed into a polished triple threat performer but has also grown in confidence and ability. The PWA friends she has made will I have no doubt be lifelong. This school has relatively high fees BUT the teaching and experience are both outstanding. You do get what you pay for at PWA. The advice and support given to her have proved invaluable. Emma has spent a great deal of time supporting her and even helped us on the path to the right choice for post16 education. The last 13 years at PWA have given my daughter important life skills, and we couldn’t be happier with the school.
